Simon Minton was admitted as a solicitor on 1st April 1981 and until founding the firm which bears his name, he was formerly one of the Senior Partners at a well known long established practice.
Whilst at this firm, Simon assumed responsibility for clinical negligence work, and became highly specialised in this complex area of the law. Whilst running this department, it became one of the fastest expanding areas of that practice.
Simon decided that to really make the best use of his highly specialised expertise, he must set up a niche practice which could focus on this rapidly expanding area of the law.
Mintons was therefore formed in January 1998. Due to the firm’s specialised nature, coupled with the reputation of the firm’s personnel, Mintons was soon obtaining referrals from other firms of solicitors who were not experienced or qualified to provide such services to their own clients. The firm also receives referrals from specialist organisations as well as the Law Society.
The practice has since thrived. Simon Minton and his firm have established a reputation as being specialists in this field and one of only a few in the locality with a Legal Aid Franchise.
Simon Minton is accredited by the Law Society as a Member of their prestigious Medical Negligence Panel, and is also a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel. He is also a Referral Panel Member of AvMA.
